Large hedges
2x large hedgerow sections each approximately 150mm long, between 30mm and 40mm high and 30mm to 40mm wide, perfect for 28mm to 40mm miniatures and O gauge model railways.
These items are handmade to look like countryside headgerows so vary in height, widthand colour to simulate the appearance of a natural hedgerow.
Some of the sections have red, yellow, white and pink added to them to represent flowering hedgerow plants.
These hedges have a thin card base to them which is required for us to make them, for wargaming you can use them like this straight out of the packet and place them on the table.
Our reccomended method is to cut away most of card with a pair of scissors and mount them either on bases for wargaming or directly onto the board for modelling using hot melt glue.
They can also be cut to length with scissors and also bent to shape, you can also cut sections off to make small bushes, save any loose flock in the bag and apply to the cut ends with PVA glue.
The flock on the hedges can also be stabilised when when modelling is completed with a water based varnish such as Winsor & Newton Galeria Acrylic Matt Varnish.
